What if all we had was happiness?
No worries, no problems and nothing to complain about.
Would we be able to be fully happy,
We are grateful for the fireplace in our home, because we know how it feels to stand in the snow for hours,
We are grateful for people around us, because we know how it feels to be lonely.
We are grateful for our loving family because we know how it feels to lose someone close.
We are grateful for birds singing in spring, because we haven’t heard them during winter.
We are grateful for water because we know how it feels to have a lack of it.
If all we had was happiness, could we be fully happy?

Agreed! I gave a TEDx talk about a similar topic: https://perpetualchange.com/2018/01/30/screw-happiness/
