I love having smoothie bowls and nicecream for breakfast. However, now that it is winter here in the Netherlands, I don’t eat it that much anymore. Today was my lucky day, the sun was shining on the big window in the living room, so it almost felt like summer sitting behind that window. That was a good reason to have a smoothie bowl again!
- 1 frozen banana
- 250 grams frozen strawberries
- (coconut) water
- some red fruit for topping
- 1/2 an apple
- unsweetened muesli
Before making the smoothie bowl, make sure that the frozen fruits have just melted enough to be blended well. Put the frozen banana and strawberries in a blender and add a bit of (coconut) water so it is easier to blend. Keep adding water until you have a consistency that you like. I personally like mine pretty thick, but if you want it to be more liquid, than just add some more water.
Put the smoothie into a bowl and top it with some red fruits, muesli and some apple stars. I made the stars by cutting the apple into thin slices and cutting out the star shapes with a cookie cutter.
Enjoy you smoothie bowl outside in the sun, or like I did behind the window!
I have been thinking about my content on my blog a lot lately. I have been posting a lot of recipes on here. As much as I love creating pretty meals and styling the food, I don’t want my blog to be mainly about food. I feel like I have so much more to share than just food. There are so much more topics that I am interested in, which are a lot deeper than food.
I have also been thinking about doing more with video. I have always been a big fan of creating and editing videos and I think that it would be great to do more of that. I feel that with video you can create a beautiful style, atmosphere and emotions, something that I want to share more with you!
I would love to know from you what you would like to see more of on my blog, more personal posts, lifestyle, beauty, experiences, poetry, videos or that you mainly come here for recipes. I would really appreciate it if you could leave a comment.
