If I am not completely full after a Christmas dinner, I like to have a little dessert afterwards to satisfy my sweet tooth. I always go for the fruit and don’t really feel like having something else. But sometimes it is fun to create a little dessert that needs a little more preparation to make. So what better way than healthifying a typical Christmas dessert, Tiramisu!
Normally I wouldn’t really use soy, especially no soy yogurt because some contain quite a lot of unnecessary additives. However, the one that I used today only contains water, soy and some probiotics. So because I really needed some yogurt for this recipe and coconut yogurt is way to expensive, I chose this soy yogurt. If don’t want to use any of the two, you can mix some coconut meat with some water in a blender until you get a creamy consistency too.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 a banana
- 1 cup soy or coconut yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 1 tsp cacao powder
Directions:
Mix the vanilla powder together with the soy or coconut yogurt, if you want you can mix in a sweetener too. Cut your banana in half (length wise) and bake it on both sides in a nonstick pan. When the banana is nice and a little soft, cut it is thick strips. In a small glass add 1 big tablespoon of yogurt now put 2 strips of banana on top and sprinkle on some cacao powder. Continue these steps until you filled the entire glass, make sure that you finish with a tablespoon of yogurt. For decoration you can make a star from cacoa powder on top.
Hopefully you all are enjoying the Christmas atmosphere, just like I am doing. Now we put the Christmas tree up and the Christmas music is on the radio, I am feeling like putting on a nice dress, some make-up and enjoying a cozy evening in a warm room with candles.
What are your plans for Christmas?
