When we would have dinner with the family, a birthday party or a BBQ, my mother would always make a carrot salad soaked in vinegar. I could eat plates full of this salad, it was so good! I changed the recipe to my personal preference and I hope that you all love it as much as I do.
Ingredients:
- 1 large carrot
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 – 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/8 – 1/6 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 tablespoons unsweetened raisins
Directions:
Start by grading your carrots and put it in a bowl. Cut the celery in small pieces and add it in the bowl together with the raisins.
Now add the vinegar and mix well, do a taste test and see if you want to add some water to make the taste a little less strong. Put the bowl in the fridge and leave it there for about an hour, so the salad will soak up the vinegar.
Take it out of the fridge, serve and you are ready to enjoy!
I hope that you all have a beautiful & exciting weekend!
yum yum yumm!
