Normal popcorn or rice cakes aren’t a thing anymore. No, at the supermarket you only see flavoured things. From caramel to BBQ and from garlic to chocolate. Personally I used to love the paprika rice cakes. This combination of a bit of spice and the sourness of the lemon is great for an exciting movie night.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon popcorn
- 1/2 a teaspoon paprika powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Directions:
Start by popping your popcorn into a small cooking pot. I like to use no oil, so I keep shaking the pot until all the corn is popped. Put the popped popcorn into a small bowl.
In a small bowl mix the paprika powder and cayenne pepper and pour it over the popcorn.
Grate the skin of the lemon until you have about 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest and pour it over the popcorn too.
As much as I love my fruity flavours like the Apple Pie Popcorn, I do like a bit of spice and savoury every now and then.
Something totally different but, if you haven’t checked out Anna’s blog: A Spoonful of Nature, I recommend you do. I have been talking to her for a while and she is such a nice and caring girl. She puts out great content and is definitely worth checking out.
I hope that you all had a great Monday!
Omg ❤️
