When I was younger and the weather was cold, we would sit near the fireplace, watch television and drink hot chocolate with the entire family. This healthy hot chocolate recipe tastes even better than the store bought one that I used to enjoy back then. So grab the few simple ingredients, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate, take a blanket, turn on the fireplace and take a moment to fully relax!
- 5 tsp cacao powder
- 1/3 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
- 1/2 tsp carob
- 1 cup of non-dairy milk
- (optional) a bit of coconut sugar if you desire
In a cooking pot add the non-dairy milk. When the milk is heated up a bit add in the remaining ingredients and mix well until all the powders are dissolved.
Pour the hot chocolate into a mug and enjoy, by the fireplace, underneath a blanket or any other cozy place that you like!
